Women devoting themselves to the Word, fellowship, sharing of meals and prayer. Acts 2:42
The heart of the Women's Ministry at Calvary Chapel Kansas City is found in Acts 2:42. The instruction and vision given to the church then, and continuing to this day is simple, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers". We desire to be obedient to the Word and create opportunities to "gather" together and engage in the four elements given to us in Acts in the same manner as the early church. Our "gatherings" are Christ-centered which causes growth in our individual journeys, which in turn strengthen our trust, faith, joy, unity, community, our church, and our witness. As we follow the instruction from the Word, we believe the Holy Spirit will be manifest in our lives to glorify the Lord Jesus in everything we do as a ministry.
Join us for the Women's Bible Study beginning this Sunday, March 18 at 4 PM in FUSE. We will be diving into the lives of 4 women of the New Testament. As always it is so much fun to see how studying their lives will change our own. Bible Studies will be held Sunday March 18, April 8, April 22 and May 6 at 4 p.m. in FUSE. We're looking forward a great time of fellowship!
