The heart of the Women’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel Kansas City is found in Acts 2:42. The instruction and vision given to the church then, and continuing to this day is simple, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers”. We desire to be obedient to the Word and create opportunities to “gather” together and engage in the four elements given to us in Acts in the same manner as the early church. Our “gatherings” are Christ-centered which causes growth in our individual journeys, which in turn strengthen our trust, faith, joy, unity, community, our church, and our witness. As we follow the instruction from the Word, we believe the Holy Spirit will be manifest in our lives to glorify the Lord Jesus in everything we do as a ministry.
All ladies are invited to join us for the first WOMEN: Gathering event of 2020. We are having a "Leap Year Tea" on Saturday, February 29th at 12:00 noon in FUSE. Daughters 8 & up are also invited and it is free to attend. A high tea lunch will be the highlight of the day, along with a devotion from the Word, meaningful conversation in smaller groups, fellowship, and prayer. There are only a few things we ask that you do: be sure to bring your favorite tea cup, sign-up so we have a head count, and sign up to bring food if you wish to! Stop by the Women's Ministry table to get your handbill with all the information and get signed up following service on Sunday mornings. You don't want to miss this opportunity to enjoy some quality time with your sisters in Christ! And - as always - invited friends & family are welcome!
