Women devoting themselves to the Word, fellowship, sharing of meals and prayer. Acts 2:42
The heart of the Women's Ministry at Calvary Chapel Kansas City is found in Acts 2:42. The instruction and vision given to the church then, and continuing to this day is simple, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers". We desire to be obedient to the Word and create opportunities to "gather" together and engage in the four elements given to us in Acts in the same manner as the early church. Our "gatherings" are Christ-centered which causes growth in our individual journeys, which in turn strengthen our trust, faith, joy, unity, community, our church, and our witness. As we follow the instruction from the Word, we believe the Holy Spirit will be manifest in our lives to glorify the Lord Jesus in everything we do as a ministry.
The definition of the word “gather” means to bring parts of a whole closer. The Women’s Ministry is offering you an opportunity to assemble together to get to know each other better, make a new friend, and grow closer to each other and to Jesus. Please join the women of our church as we gather together on Saturday, June 2nd at 10:00 a.m. in FUSE for a simple meal, fellowship, and meaningful conversation. Stop by the women’s table in the foyer to see the menu, sign up to attend, and possibly volunteer to bring food for the breakfast. Women 15 years and older are welcome and the cost is free. We eagerly look forward to seeing you there!
Sisters Groups are now forming. Stop by the Women's Table for more information and to sign up! Don't miss this opportunity to make new friends and to deepen existing relationships.
