Women devoting themselves to the Word, fellowship, sharing of meals and prayer. Acts 2:42
The heart of the Women's Ministry at Calvary Chapel Kansas City is found in Acts 2:42. The instruction and vision given to the church then, and continuing to this day is simple, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers". We desire to be obedient to the Word and create opportunities to "gather" together and engage in the four elements given to us in Acts in the same manner as the early church. Our "gatherings" are Christ-centered which causes growth in our individual journeys, which in turn strengthen our trust, faith, joy, unity, community, our church, and our witness. As we follow the instruction from the Word, we believe the Holy Spirit will be manifest in our lives to glorify the Lord Jesus in everything we do as a ministry.
Fall Scripture Writing Plan
So much of our confusion, our pain, our indecision, and our wrong decisions come because we do not know God. We may know about Him, but do we know what God says about Himself? Do we know for ourselves who He really is? When you know God more fully by STUDYING HIS NAMES, Master, Healer, Shepherd, Provider, All Sufficient One, Peace, and many others, you’ll find strength for times of trial, comfort for pain, and provision for your soul’s deepest needs. Your walk with God will be transformed. Come join the women of our church as we study the names of God, Tuesday nights for six weeks starting October 9 through November 13 at 7:00 p.m. in FUSE.
